Each day, our team has been sharing some of their eye opening and heart lifting stories.  Here are those that have shared so far...

Hey it's Lucy, Today we continued our work here on site. We built a shed to move tools and other excess stuff. We cemented the floor, built a wall, and a beautiful door. Shoutout to Carissa. We cleaned up the art garden where we will be hosting the camp tomorrow. We had to paint the walls and tables, and Carly started building bamboo shelves. Devin and Jordan worked hard on the projects for the kids tomorrow. We are planning on them painting on a piece of wood which had to be... cut and painted white. We took time to walk around the neighborhoods and pass out flyers for the art camp. Sarah, the pastor's wife, came with us to translate. We were introduced to the struggles in Jaco as we even saw a drug deal take place in daylight with little kids around. It was eye opening, but also showed us that we are meant to be here ministering to the people of Jaco. Please pray for a successful day tomorrow as we host lots of local children for the art camp. God bless, Lucy

Hey this is Devin giving an update on our day today! Today we helped out with many different projects at Oceans Edge! It is super fun to see this place coming a long and how we get to help on their journey here. We are excited  for the outreach that we get to be apart of on Thursday! We are looking forward to get to connect with the children that live here in the Jaco community. Overall this trip has been amazing so far and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us later in the week!

Hey!. Today, we got on the plane with zero problems. When we left, we found our driver and traveled an hour and a half to Jaco from San Jose. The drive was absolutely beautiful and we stopped to stand on a bridge where we saw over 20 alligators! After that, we went to Oceans Edge (where we are staying) and helped clean up the yard and get things ready for the rest of the week. To finish off the day, we spent time talking about hearing God's voice. The trip has been absolutely amazing so far. We are super excited for the rest of this week! Please continue to pray for safe travels. -Camryn
