Below is a post written by Wendy about the team "off day":

Went to a beach today (2 ½ hours to get there) shopped, played football, got in the water, and saved a man's live!  All in a day's play?  Some of us where just standing around our things, some of us where still enjoying the water and then a woman started yelling.  My first thought was a shark!  She was pointing and putting up the stop signal.  She was not speaking in English, so we really did not know what she was saying.  But there goes Andy and Chuck headed for the water in a full run!  I am thinking why are they running to the water if there are sharks?  Then I see the man's head bobbing!  It looked and felt like slow motion!  Chuck hit the first wave and I felt that they were never going to make it in time!  My feeling was not a fear for Andy or Chuck, but that they would not get to Alex in time!  But Andy and Chuck did make it and saved Alex from drowning!  Andy is not a very good swimmer, but he kept right up with Chuck!  Once they got to Alex, Andy did not see him so went under water to find Alex.  Lifted him up and Chuck flipped him over and they both squeezed him and saved his life.  It was probably a blessing that Alex had gone unconscious because he could have hurt Andy and Chuck.  At this point neither Andy nor Chuck could touch the bottom of the ocean.  It was with God's strength, because Alex was a big man and it took multiple men to move him up on the beach.  So this was all God with Andy and Chuck being His willing vessels to be involved and complete His miracle.  Praise God for being in the right place and in His timing!

Thanks for the opportunity to serve God in a mighty way!
