We have reached our last mission day, and have experienced a lot of beautiful, life-changing things. Today most of our group visited the school to finish up the painting we had started a few days before, while the others stayed back at the church to finish repainting the kitchen. At the school, our job was to paint benches and hopscotch games for the children to play on in their courtyard. We had anticipated not completing many of our assignments, but to our amazement ,we were able to almost finish every task before the usual afternoon showers. God truly worked in our hearts today, knowing each of our talents and providing us with the will to do our best work posible. The word that comes to mind for me when thinking of today is "inspiration". We not only provided inspiration for the people of Costa Rica, but the thankfulness, generosity, and love that they showed us for doing God's work is forever an inspiration to my heart. The day only got better when we attended worship tonight. The spirit that filled the church was absolutely beautiful, nothing like I have ever experienced before. Just praising God together with these beautiful people was an honor, and hearing their prayers for our group was even more of an honor. We have been blessed to experience such love. How great our God truly is!
